See the issue of _LIFE_ magazine, "the year 1999 in pictures". On font
cover is JFK Jr. Towards the back, there's an image of an F-15 as it goes
supersonic: very spectacular--a "bomb" of water vapor emanating from the
tail, enshrouding most of the aircraft. You must see it.
And while I'm at it: check out _TIME_ magazines "person of the year" issue
featuring Jeff Bezos of amazon.com The feature opens with a facial
portrait, where it seems like it was taken with a ring flash! Quite nifty.
There were a few other sources of photos that caught my eye; I'll try to
