Jim, I now have three (blush), and you can't have any of them. There aren't
as many of them as most other OM's since the production run was pretty
short. Most of the ones that are still going are probably burned in, so I
wouldn't worry about reliability problems.  There are no new boards for
them, so if that goes, the camera is dead and gone. However, that's
probably true of most things anymore.  It does use batteries faster than
some other OM's.  There is a modification to make it so that the flash
ready light is powered by the flash batteries rather than the camera which
improves camera battery consumption a lot (if you use flash a lot).

The interface is one of Olympus' cleverest, it being both simple to use but
quite powerful in what it can do.

There's been a lot of discussion of the pro's and con's of the OM-2S in the
archives. You might have a look there.
