Hi all,
In my lustful Zuikholic daze I have run across both these lenses. After
searching the archives, and other web sites I am left with a few questions.
1. Why an 85mm if I already have a 100mm 2.8? What are the advantages of
the 85 over the 100 2.8?
2. Soligor doesn't seem to have much of a reputation as an aftermarket
lens. Is their 500mm F8 mirror any good? This particular lens is a late
model (about 5 yrs old) and in "mint" condition. The seller showed me one
shot he had used the lens for and it was gorgeous. Is this the exception
rather than the rule? Any ideas on what this lens might be worth ( arange
is fine)?
