We really do behave like adults most of the time.
Learn to use the delete key and the off topic subjects
and rants will not be a bother. Of course if you like to read
and have plenty of free time there are some interesting
arguments going on from time to time.
Your kit sounds fine to me.
You could always gut the teleconverter and use it as an
extension tube. Check with Ken Norton.
