An alkaline D-cell has roughly 6 times, and a an alkaline C-cell roughly 3
times the Amp-hour capacity of an alkaline AA cell.

The relationships may vary a bit amongst the different brands. It be wildly
off when talking about rechargeable cells, because of shortcuts often used
in the manufacturing of the C and D cell varieties.
