Terry,
The ribbons are approximately $12-14 each for the four dye sublimation
cartridges. I never actually printed all 8X10s in a row (often print
smaller and mixed photos) but I would guess that a set of ribbons
(CMYK) last for 14-18 8X10s.
I'v actually used other photo papers in the printer and have had
quality near that of the specialized photographic Alps paper. The 8
1/2 X 11 paper runs about $16 for 20 sheets.
