Normal setup would be:
TTL Auto Connector Type 4 on OM-2n, connected to BG2 using TTL Auto Cord T,
with T32 mounted on BG2.

Anytime you want TTL flash control with a T32 or T20.

Yes, T32 and T20 have same "pin out" on the foot.

What Oly call "Normal Auto" operation connected to the Quick Auto 310 Flash.
Flash would be remote from the camera, probably bounced off something, maybe
mounted on a Bounce Grip 1. The remote sensor fits in the hot shoe of any
camera which has one, and points at the subject. Note this does not
(obviously) give any TTL flash control. The QA310 will only give TTL flash
control with the OM-2 (not "n"), in which case you need a "Shoe 2" on the
camera and a TTL Auto Cord.

Don't know exactly what it does, but it definitely connects to the winder 2,
according to the OM System Chart I have.
