http://www.imagek.com. Ok, it's "digital film", not a back, but same
difference. Under $800, available this summer. This stores 30 shots at
1280x1024 using a CMOS sensor (not to-date matching the quality of a
CCD, but they expect that to eventually change), ISO 100 equivalent
speed. Communication is simple sound and LEDs (though your film speed
window).

It might require a new back anyway -- I have my suspicions about how a
gadget like this might spring your pressure plate with continuous use.
But still, sounds cool. You could always devote a back or body to it.
