I've been reading about this 1.4x Tamron converter vignetting in several
lens tests, specially with longer focal lengths. Accidentally I did today my
first serious tests with the 300/2.8, with and without the 1.4x and 2x
converters, on snow scenes using slide film, and I will certainly inspect
the results on vignetting.

I've already tried this, but it seems impossible to combine the 1.4x and 2x
Tamron converters; unlike the Olympus converters they fysically don't seem
to match (but maybe there is some trick?) It is however possible to combine
the 1.4 Tamron converter and the Olympus 2xA converter (of course with the
Adaptall mount converter in between).

This is what I noticed too; the balance just didn't feel good. It's probably
calculated for bricks like the F4 or something. I think a motor drive will
help.

:And the DOF preview latch on the adaptall mounts works
:better, IMO, than the Zuiko buttons (blasphemy?).

Well it's easier to move it slowly.

:Thanks for still listening (if you haven't fallen asleep)

More lullabies, please!
