What a bummer.   I suppose carving the camera up and whacking a big
toggle switch in the top plate would be too radical a solution :-)

Where are the LEDs situated?  Near the groundglass like where the OM-1
needle lives?  I wonder if leakage from the *back* of the LED might be
the problem, in which case some black ink in the right spot might
help---obviously this would be a delicate and costly mod.

(I think that's enough speculation on zero data from me...)
