I joined this illustrious group around a year ago with an OM1 and 3 lenses -
now 2 bodies, 8 lenses, 2 flashes, 2 winders, tripod, monopod, filters,
leads..... and I still want more.... great, innit - I'm also just about to
start a tech course in pro photography - look out world, hehe

Yep, I joined the list (gee, has it been two years already!) with just
an OM-1 and 50/1.8; I now have 5 lenses, 4 tripods, 3 flashes, 2 OM
bodies, 5 compacts, thirty seven quadrillion filters and a partridge
in a pear tree. And I consider(ed?) myself a minimalist retrogrouch
when it comes to equipment!
