Foxy,
  I beg to differ with your conclusion.  I have five Adaptall2 mounts.
Of these three are marked "Adaptall 2, for OLYMPUS OM,JAPAN" and two are
marked "OL, JAPAN".  Much to my dismay, every one of these WILL cause
the shear problem on my OM4.  The only difference in all of them as far
as the shear problem is that one of the "OL, JAPAN" marked ones has had
the screw epoxyed or something similar.
  On the basis of the five that I have I cannot accept that the ones
marked "OL" are good ones.
