Ken:
The T-32 is disassembled by removing the battery cover and batteries
and removing the Phillips screw in the middle of the battery
compartment. The top cover will then snap off. I think this is
covered in one of the FAQs relative to replacing the base shoe. The
rattle was the spring clip and detent ball that fits on the rear of
the mode switch slide. If the mode switch on the back of the strobe
moves smoothly without detent stops the clip and ball are likely
loose.
