I agree, if I were ever to switch systems (No, no, down bad dog!!), it would
be for the lens and Canon seems to come out on top (including price as a
relativity factor). At the Photodo site, the Canon 300/2.8 shows absolutely
no drop in performance wide open--very impressive..
