Hi Lars
I´m usually only a lurker on this list (for several years now actually), but I
would like to know what the cost was of this repair and if you thought it was
worth the money. I also have a 75-150/4 zoom which I bought used a very long
time ago (early version with chrome front), and I´ve always had this problem of
focus not holding when zooming. Also I do not find it to be nearly as sharp as
my other zoom the 28-48/4. I´m just about to give up on finding a used 65-200/4
at a reasonable price. Maybe I could learn to get along with the smaller 75-150
zoom if it was fixed. It is arguably a very light and compact zoom (yet
reasonable fast) that works well with handheld shooting, although I would have
preferred a one touch design with a close up function. I imagine though that
such zoom features probably weren´t invented when this zoom was designed in the
early 70´s.
