I use my thinner version circular polarizor on my 24mm/f2 and I do not
see any vignetting.  I believe the angle of the view is 89deg for the
24mm and 91 or 92deg for the 21mm - not much difference.

I do not use C-PL on wide angle lenses as much as normal to telephoto
because PL filters on wide angle of view is not really effective unless
I am shooting specific view such as suface of the water or candids in
confined area.

If you are in US, you can acquire Hoya's new thinner C-PL filter which they
started to market this past spring.  I do not recall what is the name for it.
I have Kenko brand C-PL filter (which uses Hoya glass - OEM product).
These thin ones do not have screw threads for stacking filters in the front
of the filter and also, you cannot put lens caps with tabs with spring.
