Ingemar,
I have owned both of these lenses for more than a decade now. I
aquired the 1000/11 first and found it quite execelent. Since getting
the 600/6.5 I have not had the 1000/11 out with me. I find, on my two
lenses, that the 600 has superior contrast. It is also far eaiser to
transport and use being only 2/3 the size of the 1000/11 and about 3
pounds lighter. It is very hard to justify carrying both with me.
