I have only noticed in the last few months the damage being caused by the
blue webbing OM strap. I prefer to make a corded wrist strap, but one
bowline knot came undone and dropped my OM4 on a cobbled street in Trier -
aaargh! Dented baseplate the result...
Zing camera covers make a wrist strap which looks good, but it's bound to
be pricey.
