It was mentioned several times on this list that Tel Aviv is a source of
grey-market OM items and consequently also a place where NY shops get
most of their stuff from.
My brother will go for a 10 day singing trip to Israel and I am
interested if it is viable to send him shopping for Zuikos while there?
He doesn't know (almost) nothing about photogear, however. Are there any
recommended shops? Is buying there safe, or do they tend to cheat you
like some of the NY shops do?
Actually, I don't have money for new Zuikos at all, but I might talk the
other brother into buying them (he has an OM4T, bought it following my
example) and then borrowing them to me :) He is a medical student so he
hasn't time to photograph anyway. To extend the user base, I might
succeed to presuade the third brother to buy OM as well... :)
