Hmmm, if money doesn't matter (as seems to be the case with THESE
options for a 'starter kit'), I'd go for the two lenses. OTOH, if he'll
be doing slides, a zoom has unbeatable advantages ('crop before you
expose'). I don't own any of the 4 lenses mentioned (nor an OM-4Ti ;-)),
so I can't give you any first-hand experience, but I'm sure some other
list-members can.
