Well, there are two more drawbacks -- large size and heavy weight.
Of course, both are almost completely offset by the incredible
lightness the zoom purchase infuses in one's wallet :-)

IMHO, if one is drawn to compactness of the OM system, a triplet
of Zuikos: 28/f2, 50/f1.2, and 85/f2 provides a good solution.

If size is less of a consideration, a good triplet may be: 35/f2,
50/f2 macro, and 100/f2. The extravagant spender may substitute a
24/f2 for the 35/f2.

Note that in both cases I provide a solution which supercedes the
zoom in focal length coverage, speed, versatility, and close
focusing, while keeping the total cost within the same range
(except for the 24/f2 option), and without sacrificing the optical
performance :-).

Also note that the above triplets were selected with same filter
sizes. If one doesn't mind some fussing with lens accessories,
other excellent lens combinations are possible, and the total
expense can be brought down significantly.
