BW;

I've got some input on this onem (of course YMMV). I have used Fuji
processing and most of my experience is good. E-6 processing was fairly
reliable and fairly quick. (Incidentally,I can say the same for Kodak
prepaid mailers.)

HOWEVER, I had two very bad experiences with FUJI which causes me to
hesitate to recommend them.

Once they sent me someone else's slides (and of course sent my 36 Velvia
exposures to someone else.) As you can imagine if every roll is
important to you as it is to me, this was real upsetting. They were
able after a month or so to rectify the situation, because the other
folks were as anxious as I to get their own slides. But suppose they
hadn't been? Fuji had no idea where my slides were.

The other problem is preventable and I do what is necessary religiously
now. What happened was I sent in a roll of E-6 that had been pulled
from 1 camera and reloaded in a second camera part way thru the roll.
So the exposures became out-of-sync part way thru the roll. Well the
mounting machine and operator didn't know this and the result was that
the slides from the last half of the roll were all cut right down the
middle. :(!! And of course, using Murphy's law - that's where all the
good ones were. In fact, they were quite good, unusual and hard to
duplicate. Fuji did work with me and tried to patch things up and dupe
them onto 645 film. But it was less than successful.

The solution is simple: put a sticker on the film can saying the films'
been reloaded. When I did that, all was well.
I guess I can't really blame this on the processor, it's another one of
those 'I should've known's.
