Sorry I couldn't help you but Olympus disposed of remaining 35-70 3.6 parts 
years
ago.
All glass is unique to each individual  product, so once it's gone it is truly
gone.  My last parts list for the 3.6 is dated 9/90.
Was this element part on the back of the tube you unscrewed, or was it inside 
the
main lens assy after you lifted the front assembly out?
This will help me match it up with my parts list.  It's along shot, but I will
search my lens element archives.
