I've had some things to say here about Agfachrome RSX50.  I'd summarize:

Neutral color balance with UV reduction layer (no UV filter needed), widest
exposure latitude (=normal contrast), low saturation, grain equal to
Fujichrome Astia and grainer than Kodak Elite II 50 speed, apparent sharpness
same as typical Kodak or Fuji 100 speed films, pro stock which doesn't require
cool temp storage; storage stability unknown.  

I'd add on a personal note: Excellent cost/performance ratio and a good film
for digital photography (or Ilfochrome printing) where contrast buildup is a
problem and saturation and contrast can be manipulated.

BTW, I was just reading in Petersen's Photography (I believe) that Ektapress
films are designed for scanning.
