Wow! Did I really write that? Wow. How, uhm... rude! I'm blushing :-)
Anyway, I must think about becoming an eBay tart myself. Just this
evening, an everready leatherette case for Olympus in EXC+ condition
(I'm not even sure it was an Oly original) sold for $33 + $3 s&h.
I wonder whether the buyer will put in it a $1,500 OM-3Ti, or a
beat up $60 OM-10. :-)
So, what is this? Yet another miracle on eBay street, or just
another proof that the late (and wise!) P.T. Barnum was right?
See? I have several spare Oly ERC's in great shape for which in
the past I'd asked a measly $10-15 -- with no takers.
Oh well, live and learn...
P.S. From same eBay page: a scarce, semi-collectible Aires Penta 35
SLR in mint condition, with an EXC+ (real leather!) ERC, sold for a
low $50 + $5 s&h!!! No, I didn't bid on it, and I can't stop kicking
myself! :-( /G.S.
