One way of killing bugs is to displace the oxygen.  If you can
find a source of carbon dioxide and a deep sealed container (like
tupperware), place camera in container, slowly (to avoid 
condensation) replace normal atmosphere with CO2.  Let it sit
sealed for a few weeks.

You can do this with anything that is heavier than air (although
I suppose you could invert the container and use helium) but 
I'd avoid any type of hydrocarbon gas -- you could do some other
damage.
