I have had no other unreliability issues with it, and can't see any
other differences between them apart from the additional contacts on the
hotshoe - which presumably would not be changed if the new circuit was
fitted to an OM-4.

Depending on the ambient temperature, I get anything from 3 to 6 months
for SR-44 batteries if I don't switch the battery caps.  I sent it back
to Olympus twice when new because of this and eventually decided to live
with it since it clearly wasn't going to be fixed.

Note the other issue about my original current values - it appears that
extended characters don't transmit to the digest so the micro symbol is
missing from all the current figures I added.  The OM-4 should draw
around 10microamps in power-down mode, the OM-4Ti should be less than
1micro-amp, and both cameras draw several hundred microamps in normal
auto or manual modes.  Well it seems to have amused a few, but since
someone interpreted the figures as mA I thought I better point out what
was actually meant.
