I agree with Jeff of getting the 24mm rather than 28mm,  although some
third party manufacturer are now marketing zoom lenses starting at 28mm
focal length zooming up to 105mm or longer.  Personally, I would not get
3x or 4x zooms - this is a different subject matter.

I am not sure what is your purpose of using the wide angle, the 24mm
lens met my purposes (indoor or tight space or show large vista).  Have
you explored 18mm or 21mm for more creativity ?

Also when choosing the new lens, I recommend that you stick with the same
filter diameter you already have with your Zuiko arsenal.  It is a pain
to keep different diameter filter sets.  I believe most Zuiko lenses 
accept either 49mm or 55mm filter threads (except the 35-80mm/2.8 has
62mm thread and others such as 18/180/300 have 72mm, the expensive
180 has 100mm threads).  I end up using step-up ring for 49mm threaded
lenses for 55mm filters.
