I recall a previous message from yourself re the SP 90MM 2.5 and its
difference in color rendition compared to Zuiko lenses. However I did
not save that message. Would you mind describing again the nature of
this color difference?

The Tamron 90mm SP f2.8 is the successor to the f2.5 version and is the
only alternative I know of, for OM systems, that is advertised as
giving 1:1 magnification without extension tubes. Australian price of
this lens is over $900 this probably puts above the cost of a used Zuiko
90MM f2, if you can find one. B&H sells the Tamron for $399.00US. I
get the feeling that one of the few Zuiko 90MM f2's over here left the
country with Giles. In any case AFAIK I'd have to use extension tubes
with the Zuiko to acheive greater than 1:2 magnification.
