My sister in Poland had a leg operation last week. Nothing life threatening but
severely limited mobility for a couple of weeks. So I decided to visit her over
the weekend to help with practical things and just to be with her. I flew there
very early Friday morning and returned home very late Sunday night (more like
Monday morning). This meant that I basically had 3 full days in Wrocław.
Usually when I visit, my sister, brother-in-law and I go to the center
together. This time I was on my own which had the advantage of being able to
walk more, despite the 30-32 degree heat. I also visited one of my usual modern
art places, housed in a World War II bunker, now used for much more peaceful
purposes. And I collected more photos of Wrocław’s famous gnomes of which there
are more than 800 around the city. It’s all here:

And as alwasy, comments and critique are welcome and appreciated.
