Hey Mike,
I am not sure I am following. My Sony SLT-A65 features a built-in GPS receiver,
allowing direct geotagging of photos and movies without external devices. Was
this functionality omitted on your Alpha?

For Sony Geotag alpha is not finicky and stays in the background. It requires
no attention and tags raw and jpgs.? My only issue with it is it requires full
control of BT so can't use my BT remote at same time.? If using two cams end up
using Strava on my watch or Gpx tracker on phone.?
