fun."
Thanks for the updates. Best wishes for the New Year. Which drone?
Unfortunately DJI seems to have a monopoly on the best ones for now but the FCC
will not approve any new ones as of 12/23/25.
Dustin Abbott calls that 70-200 f4 macro a home run. The price seems to have
gone up--?tariffs. My only quibble is the effective focal length at 200 mm
drops to 93mm at 0.5mag so the working distance is 8 inches. My viv s1 90-180
in OM mount goes to 1:2 mag as well with working distance of 16 inches but is
not as sharp and has a tad color cast due the complex design with many
interfaces and the coatings at the time as well as longitudinal CA--still a
very cool lens. The 70-200 GMF2.8 II is a tad sharper in the corners and
periphery above about 100 mm but not sure it is worth the loss of macro
ability/cost/weight.
