Great to see Moose was able to see Nathan! We had the pleasure of meeting
Nathan but as I dig in my archive, I see it was 2010!

Oh well, what's 15 years between friends?

I should reprocess the image— better tools and a slightly better tool user.

White balance!

I see that restaurant has a branch in Berkeley too.

I see now that it's a micro conglomerate, with 4 locations and a fifth on the way. I think Albany was the first. The Berkeley one may be slightly closer, but is a much less appealing location. It's just a store front on a rather uninteresting part of town.

Albany is a part of a cluster of restaurants and shops. The sidewalk in front is wide, giving them a large outdoor area, very well gardened. People around, walking by, eating outdoors in other restaurants. Really nice vibe.

Beer selection looks awesome. Might have tried the “Dark Sarcasm” porter or
the Euphoria pale ale. Will await a more specific beer report by Nathan and/or Moose.

I had Inhume IPA. First rate West Coast IPA. Not a threat to Pliny the Elder, but up there. Both Nathan and I were thinking about the Socks & Sandals IPA, but they were out. Nathan also had something Deep and Dark and another light one. I liked the Inhume, so I just had another one.

I'm familiar with the Faction beers. That's the place that started Nick on his graphics design for small breweries career. He still does all their work. We've spent time at the brewery, eaten there, hosted by the owners, Claudia and Roger. So, of course, I want to try others.
