I actually love my Asus laptop monitor (17" -- please don't make fun) and
use it more than my external monitor (HP -- good but getting old). Given
my workspace, I can't really imagine going as large as 30". However, I do
often yearn for larger because I shoot mostly verticals. Is 16:9 the
right format for 4/3 anyway?
