Been there, tried that. Without IR dust/scratch cleaning, it's a non-starter
for me.
Also, with a scanner that does multiple frames at once, life is more pleasant.
For someone with a clean room, and who doesn't mind sitting there, moving it frame by
frame, could work. 😉
