AG said today "'I'm usually studying technical stuff. A lesson I learned
the hard way
is that I have to invest at least 10 hours a week to keep from losing
ground."
I imagine most professions face the same challenge, what with the rapid
expansion of knowledge.
My problem: not only am I retired (from consulting about various aspects
of management), I'm also now obsolete and ... if I don't always remember
this ... dangerous to clients.
But I do find solace in photography: while its technology rapidly changes,
the things that bring pleasure - meaning the images themselves - don't so
much.
