The lack of comparison with the Voightländer 10/5.6 makes this review less than 
fully useful.

I wonder what the actual FL range of production Laowa 9 mm and Voightländer 10 
mm lenses will be.

For example, in the Modern Photo tests of yesteryear, the tested FLs of their copies of the 18/3.5 = 18.76 mm, and 21/2 = 20.15, were much closer than one might expect. Both were, however, within the 5% variance range they considered normal. 21/2 = -4.0 %, 18/3/5 = +4.2%.

I had and used the Laowa 9.5/2 for µ4/3. A nicely built lens, and optically good. Well built, as well, except for the tiny hood, which had a faulty design that came off too easily.

Didn't work for me for a couple of reasons. It didn't do EXIF. Sure, I know how to easily add the data, but I did not take the time to take notes, when juggling three bodies in places with endless subjects and limited time, so I don't know apertures in most cases.

It was also not really all that wide; I bought it  mostly for the speed, which it turned out I didn't need. I've been much happier with the Panny 7-14/4. For more speed, the Oly 7-14/2.8 is nice, too, but I didn't feel I needed that.

I also did poorly with remembering to focus manually. Yes, such a wide lens has deep DoF, but not infinite, and I screwed up some shots. How bad that problem may for me with the Voightländer, I don't yet know. I do know that the in-EVF focus aids have so far reminded me that I need to do it.
