I'm here. I'm fine. I'm exhausted. We are taking care of our 2 and 4
year old grandkids since their parents had to go back to work in Charleston
but their day care is not open yet. We've had them for a month. It's a
joy and we're making lots of memories here at the farm, but taking care of
two little ones is very, very hard on these two old people. We don't have
time for anything but feeding them, getting them dressed, attending their
zoom school, showing them how to work on the farm, and getting them to bed
again.
It looks like we'll have them for at least two more weeks. South Carolina
says everything will be opening back up very soon. I think that's a
mistake. Tim's hotel in Charleston is already fully booked for the next
couple of months. I'm not sure how he's supposed to work with the public
and protect his kids.
This is all a mess. I am posting on FB because I keep my phone on me at
all times and it's super easy to snap photos of the kids and post them for
our family and friends. I occasionally get out my real camera but not
often.
The kids are going down for their naps now, and so am I!!
