Took an hour or two to go to the Eagle Festival again. The eagles hang out
near the mouth of the Merrimack this time of year but have the advantage of the
birders with spotting scopes keeping track of where they are and posting the
sightings. Ironically I walked in back of Deer Island with one other photog
with a huge Canyon kit where not a birder was to be found and a juvenile flew
into a tree about 50 yds ahead of us. I have a few in flight but they were a
bit more distant. They will require AI GP.
More purple fringing and CA in the image below--odd, I don't remember that
being an issue. Some might have to do with a Panny lens on Oly and the
conditions.
OK, so they are like pigeons for AG in AK, but they are still photogenic, IMO.
