Marnie is home more now and has taken a liking to watching photography
tutorials. She asked why she always uses ISO200 for best IQ when the
tutorials use 100 or lower.
I quickly explained that that is the base ISO and lowest in noise and best DR
and going lower may be useful in some situations but not for IQ. Though is
it???
I have not had time for a through review though seems noise might be lower at
the extended low ISO's with nearly identical DR but slightly less head
room???? ---after a firmware upgrade.
Perhaps need to reconsider---any thoughts on that?
Need to read about FW updates more thoroughly but flat out at work these days.
