Well, now my brain hurts again. I'm still going to rent a G-95 to play with

But then Oly goes ahead and announces this new E-M5, and while it's a few
hundy more, it also has the dual-AF sensor (phase and contrast) which the
Panny lacks and which was really appealing about the E-M1, but the E-M5 is
cheaper.
Hopefully I can unload enough stuff from the basement in the coming weeks
onto ebay to replenish the toy fund and I can just pull the trigger when I
decide. But I don't think anyone's going to offer an E-M5 for rent, so I
won't be able to do a true comparison..
Is it possible that you are letting things of little or no significance to your
practice of photography confuse you?
If I want a new camera, it is, I hope, to acquire capabilities my current camera(s) lack. A list of what I want, ordered
by importance, is of great assistance in comparing the alternatives.
