The GX80/GX85 is a pretty remarkable little camera. "Little" is
relative, though. I was comparing the size to an OM film body, and
it's just a little bit less wide, but nearly identical in size,
otherwise--except for the prism hump. As such, it feels almost
identical to the OM body, but with an altered viewfinder position. I
like the feature set. I know it does a billion things that I have yet
to explore. There are a few odd habits that Panasonic will always put
in that will drive you nuts as it resets SOME items when waking up.
And the green power-on LED is distracting.

The high-ISO performance is mind-boggling good. The flexibility to
shoot up to ISO 3200 and not really worry about it is quite
refreshing. At ISO 3200, the results are similar to the Canon 6D at
ISO 800, which is similar to the E-1 at ISO 200. Color integrity at
high-ISO is also fantastic.

My one handling complaint is that I'm always accidentally pressing the
play or Fn1 buttons when grabbing the camera.

Auto-WB is a strange mixed bag. It's fantastic with artificial
lighting (especially in the stores--hmm), but outdoors, the WB tends
more towards the cooler side than I prefer. At least that's per the
camera. But once I pull the images into Lightroom, I discover that the
WB is actually quite good. The problem is more related to how the
human eye interprets the WB of the image on the Monitor/Viewfinder
when in the actual environment. I've seen this before with other
cameras, and of course, with chimping. But for some reason, the
viewfinder is especially WB cool to the eye.
