Ah, 49mm a bit small and 40 cm diopter works out to 2.5 diopters— usually too
strong for longer FL’s and working distance a tad short for shy critters. You
would like one larger and less powered for the longer zoom. I predict you
would love it. I have 3 for very specific tasks but Moose has so many he
requires a spread sheet for achromatic diopters! There is no guarantee the
optics will mesh well though. They don’t require a major investment so the
worst case scenario is far from fearsome.
