Oh yes, Philippe, I had a succession of BX19, BX19 and Xantia, and flying 
carpet us just the word. Speed bumps, sleeping policemen, whatever you call 
them, were easy. Just get the speed right and drive straight over!

Although the first BX did decide to dump green hydraulic fluid in the driver 
footwell one cold dark winter Sunday. I was glad to have read the handbook, so 
I knew to use engine oil in emergency, not brake fluid.

They stopped production 3 years ago. We bought one of the very last C5 Tourers 
manufactured, anticipating its extinction
