I thought about this deal as well, as a second backup, since I also have the A7 
III and a couple of lenses. What turned me off was the battery difference, 
which is half the power of the newer Sonys. A small thing but was a deciding 
factor. I'm still learning this A7iii camera. And reading some discussion on 
the autofocus difference between DSLR and Mirrorless. I'm still trying to sort 
that out.

The menus are so customizable it is boggling my mind. And what to do with the 
custom dial settings for position 1 and 2?

I'm curious what lenses you would use with the Sony?

As to the "want" thing... are you growing younger?
