"Battery change?" What's that?
My three watches are all mechanical self-winding.
Last winter, I had walking pneumonia. But I was "toughing it out," because my
doctor had prescribed "tincture of time," thinking it was just a bad cold.
I finally went back to the doctor when I discovered that I wasn't moving enough
to keep my watch from running down.
So these things have life-saving potential beyond the mere cost savings of not
buying batteries. :-)
