I'm used to encountering hackers when using the wifi at the local coffee
shop, but this morning he/she/they were exceptionally aggressive, so much so
that I packed everything up and went home to do a boot scan on that machine and
use the dialup for the other machine. On the wifi I couldn't get a stable
connection for more than a couple of minutes at most.
This hacker actually interfered with my battery charging, causing the
indicator to say that I had just 16% for a very long time. When I started it
back up at home I had 56%.
Hacking on public wifi systems is becoming increasingly serious, and I
would just love to have some sort of software that would retaliate by detecting
hackers and uploading a virus into them that would do them serious damage, such
as locking out their hard drive or even wiping it clean. Anything such as that
available?
