The need to press the button to get into red B/60 keeps you from doing
it accidentally during photo sessions.

By chance do you have a winder or motordrive attached? If so, you'll want
to remove it. If not, then try attaching one to the camera and cycling the
camera from it.
I've had this happen one or twice where the mirror was locked in the up
position like that and I just kept working things different ways until it
finally got its brains in order.
