Got 'em all stacked up, with different masks and opacities, then want to go on
to another process? SHIFT-CTRL-ALT-E does "Stamp Visible", creating a new layer
with all the effects combined, and no mask.
<<<Huh, must have slept through that essential item in layers 101. Always
just flattened the image and thus going back is a pain. Trouble with always
rushing and learning only what is necessary on the fly, I suppose.
