Our photo club at the office, Lightbox, has come up with a new project, called
“Portrait of an Office”. Basically, we are going to make a book with portraits
of our colleagues, expressing their passions and non-work personalities. The
shoots are done in our studio at the office (normally used for webinars), and
the choice of props, clothing etc. is entirely at the discretion of the
“victim”, obviously within the practical constrains of a small studio on the
1st floor (so no live horses, for example). Yesterday we did a shoot with the
first batch of volunteers, among them Caroline, a Dutch colleague who is very
much into sports. Four images, in the “making of” spirit.

The final product will be a black & white book with one page per participant, a
photo and some words written by the person about his or her passion. It will be
used as a corporate gift and will be sold online (Blurb) to raise money for
charity.
